Lello Bookstore
It is recognized as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world; it preserves its original beauty; and it is classified as a Monument of Public Interest.
The main forefront of the building bears the name of Chardron, from whom the Lello brothers acquired the editorial fund and publishing rights and opened Livraria Lello in 1906, with the French publisher's vast editorial collection. At the entrance you can see a medallion that pays homage to Camilo Castelo Branco: The Portuguese author with the biggest number of books ever printed under the Livraria Lello's seal.
